Let’s face it, I couldn’t wait to get out of the state of Colorado. By the time I reached Grand Junction, the landscape was looking pretty Utah-y. Friday morning, I reached the state of Utah pretty quickly and enjoyed the drive through several canyons which made me channel Thelma & Louise. Not the killing a man part, but the taking off on the road part.

I arrived at Zion National Park in pretty good time. I stayed in a cabin inside the park and enjoyed a little downtime. Soon after, I fought to stay awake until 8:00 PM.

Zion was gorgeous but I could feel the road and heading west starting to wear on me. Saturday meant the turn back east!
